An expedition evaluation system carried out by expert assessors who can offer valuable advice, ensuring expedition plans meet the British Standard, BS8848, and achieve YET Approval status.

GRANT AID

Financial support for YET Approved expeditions and young people taking part in adventurous activities through Grant Aid.

MEMBERS VOICE

Making representations, on the behalf of members, to government and other policy-making bodies to promote the value of youth expeditions.

ABOUT YET

We help enable safer overseas experiences for young expeditioners

The YET is a national charity dedicated to promoting safe and responsible expeditions for young people. It does this by providing advice and support to schools, youth organisations, commercial expedition providers and groups of friends who intend to run their own youth expeditions. As the national voice of youth expeditions the YET also offers a wide range of practical assistance to aspiring or experienced expedition leaders and commercial providers alike.
