The Expedition Providers’ Association (EPA) was established by companies within the youth expedition industry to develop good practice and share information. Formally a sub-committee of the YET, EPA is now the appointed awarding body for the Quality Badge for the expedition sector on behalf of the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom. In order to qualify, companies and organisations will be independently assessed against a rigorous set of standards that will help inform potential clients as to what should be expected from a provider. EPA has developed a scheme of certification which will be accredited by Adventure Activity Associates. |
